The Cross

Passage: 1 Corinthians 1:18-25

The Cross only has power because of the resurrection, new life is given. Jesus takes on the instrument of death and transforms it into a life-giving experience. It is not just a cross; it is an encounter with the living God. Life out of death is the ultimate power of transformation. Jesus is the divine power to give us life no matter how dead we are. The cross experience is true power, resurrection, renewal, transformation. If you doubt this just look around and you will see a transformed life. That is the Cross!
