We come to the final sermon in our #ChooseLOVE series—and perhaps the hardest love to practice. How do we choose love for our enemies, especially those who have hurt us? Jesus gives us a place to begin: “Pray for those who persecute you.” Loving our enemies doesn’t excuse the harm or pretend it didn’t happen. It means asking God to help us refuse hatred, break the cycle of retaliation, and choose prayer, mercy, and grace—even when we find ourselves asking, “God, even them?”
