Advent is a season of hopeful anticipation for celebrating Christ's birth at Christmas and His return. Join us over the next four weeks for worship gatherings, studies, and activities to prepare your hearts and minds for the celebration. As in past years, we will be captivated and inspired, and hopefully, awakened to something new.
Worship
- Harvest meets each Sunday at 9:00 AM for a band-led gathering and at 10:30 AM for a choir-led gathering. Each week during Advent, we will examine the prophets' messages about the coming of Christ. We invite you to join us in prayer: "Come, Lord Jesus."
- On December 22 at 4:00 PM, there will be a special "Hope & Healing" gathering designed especially for those who have experienced some form of loss during the year. But, it is a meaningful experience for everyone.
- Join us December 24, Christmas Eve, at 4 PM or 7 PM (in-person and online) as we celebrate the birth of Jesus at these special gatherings. Christmas Eve can be challenging for many. Some are alone, grieving a loved one, struggling with illness or depression, or feeling hopeless. Everyone carries a bit of darkness inside them, which is part of being human. During this joyous season, we seek to push that darkness aside. Lighting candles in Christmas Eve services represents hope. A small flame can chase away the dark, reminding us that light always prevails. As Isaiah 9:2a says, "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light."

- The Christmas Letters Study - Reflecting on your birth story can be a rewarding journey! This Advent, we will explore author Magrey DeVega's book, The Christmas Letters, to experience the miracle of Christ's birth through the eyes of those who first shared this incredible story. We offer this study beginning Sundays (December 1, 5-6 PM) in-person and Mondays (December 2, 4-5 PM) on Zoom.

- Advent Day Retreat - Join us December 7 from 9 AM to 3 PM for a one day guided retreat. The focus will be on waiting—for rescue, justice, renewal, and the return of Jesus. We'll share short devotional teachings from the Psalms, enjoy quiet reflection, and participate in group Lectio Divina, worship, and meaningful conversations. Advent is a special time to embrace the anticipation of the Messiah and reflect on our hopes for the return of our King. We look forward to sharing this journey with you!
