Harvest has a long history of and strong commitment to extending love and care to our church family during times of crisis and difficulty.  Because of that commitment, Harvest began to offer Stephen Ministry in 2008 as a way to provide quality one on one Christian care in times of need.

Over the course of roughly an hour, we will share with you the background and history of Stephen Ministry, its history at Harvest, what Stephen Ministers do (and don't do), talk about those situations where folks (known as Care Receivers) may need a Stephen Minister, explain the process of becoming a Stephen Minister, discuss the schedule for the upcoming training class, and answer any questions you may have. You'll also have the opportunity to look over the Stephen Minister "job description", as well as the materials we use in training.

It should be a very useful hour for you to begin or assist in your discernment of whether Stephen Ministry is where the Holy Spirit is leading you to serve and utilize your spiritual gifts.

We know that a few of you have already either attended A Taste of Stephen Ministry before and/or have submitted an application.  Please know that you are more than welcome to attend the December 15th session, especially as you may have some lingering questions.

Please RSVP for this session by emailing Amy Burling at .

We also recognize that not all of you will be able to attend on the 15th.  If this is the case, please let us know and we'll arrange for a one on one meeting or phone call to go over the information with you.

Thank you so much for being open to considering this vital and rewarding opportunity to serve Christ and help us love and care for one another.  While this ministry does require commitment of time and effort,  it also brings amazing joy and fulfillment.
